When it can’t wait
A plumbing emergency is anything that’s actively causing damage or makes your home unsafe or unusable: water spreading where it shouldn’t, sewage backing up, no water at all, or a smell of gas.
Most water damage happens in the first hour, so the first thing we do is stop it. Then we find the cause and give you a written price for the repair before any work starts.
Not sure if it can wait until morning? Call anyway. We’ll tell you honestly, and talk you through shutting off the water while you wait.

For emergencies we usually arrive within an hour. You’ll get an arrival time when you call.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Anything causing water damage, sewage coming up a drain, no water to the house, or a gas smell. If you’re unsure, call and we’ll tell you honestly whether it can wait.
Do you really answer at night and on weekends?
Yes. We’re open 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
Where is my main water shutoff?
In most LA homes it’s near the front of the house by a hose bib, or in a box by the curb next to the water meter. Our shutoff guide walks you through it.
Should I call a plumber or SoCalGas for a gas smell?
SoCalGas or 911 first, from outside the house. Once the gas company has made it safe, we can find and repair the leak.
Will insurance cover the damage?
Sudden events like a burst pipe are often covered, while slow leaks usually aren’t. Take photos before cleanup and check your policy.
